1430

It is the new year. The picture is the sky on the last day of 1429. How I wish I could get out of my mind for a while and roam the world in my spirit.

Happy Eid Adha!

A few days ago mummy asked me to watch out for the blossoming of a bakawali plant that according to her should only happen at night. As I missed one bloom last night, I got my chance today it was so beautiful, white like a shining star.

i blend therefore i am

Have you ever feel you are living your life like clockwork? Doing the same old, same old thing all over and over again. From the early morning until it's late at night. You seem to be singing to the same old tune to the point that you have become a robot doing preprogrammed things. You are like an actor acting on the same old script day in day out. I guess this is what i'm going through right now, living live on automatic. I become disillusioned with life. It make me ponder about my mere existence in this world. How insignificant my everyday actions to the world at large? Am I ever going to be missed if I leave this world? Enough of this bullcrap! If I ever gonna escape myself from being this stagnant, I must do something about it or am I?

Have a nice day

I was just back from Isya' prayer when I saw this face smiling at me. It wasn't just a face, it was the moon waxing lyrically with two stars for eyes. It was beautiful. With all the happenings in the world today it was nice of god to gave up this spectacle.

Sony Double Exposure

In a couple of days, my sister and I will embark on a journey of self discovery. Pushing ourselves to the limits. Fighting for the only prizes in the Double Exposure. There are 30 aspiring photographers all with a uniform goal of winning the Sony Alpha 900, Carl Zeiss' lenses, Bravia TV, Vaio Computer, studio lights and and a photoshoot for a magazine's cover. It is gonna be tough. I'll try my absolute best to win.

wah very the busy onelah me.

I've been so preoccupied with Double Exposure. I don't even have the time to blog. All the while I've been facebooking. It is easier. Yesterday was quite a challenge for me to shoot two babies in one day. One in Segambut I think and the other in Kelana Jaya. One is my schoolmate's kid a boy, while the other is my niece. On the way to Segambut, the LRT station in Wangsa Maju was so congested it reminded me of the Metro in Rome.

I need a paradigm shift.

For 3 days tomorrow, me and selected 29 aspiring photographers will be having seminars for our web-reality show Double exposure. I will surely take this chance to improve the quality of my life. I can't keep on blending ice for a living. There are 30 of us. Including my sister Jannah.(the reason for de ja vu). There could be only one winner. This is going to be a huge task for the likes of me to ever hope have his hands on the prizes. But what ever they will give me. I will just say bring it on! I have conquered Nokia, it is now time for Sony.

Double Exposure.

I went to the audition today, i have good vibes about it and i wish i make the cut. Right after the audition i really can't believe i skated from Wangsa Maju to Pinggiran Ukay. It felt like travelling through time as i saw my classmate just the way i remembered her. Then i went to my primary years' friend. Felt like de ja vu as she also didn't chaged a bit. While the latter is a pharmacist the other is doing her masters in psychological analysis. Me an iceblender still.

I think i killed a.....

a toad. It was an automatic escalator, i turned it on an toad or frog got killed because he was on the escalator.

I just can't believe it!

I just read the news today about a monster who has just escape the gallows.
He was found guilty 4 years ago, but now he only have to face 20 years in prison. In islam the act of adultery of some one who is married is punishible by death by stoning. But this man gets to live in prison with all expenses paid. He even did not get the cane because of his age. Cruel justice to the victim's family, she's dead and our justice system let the guy who raped her live because of some loop holes. Bring back trial by jury coz a judge is one man too short.

Moon in a spider's web.

This morning after the subuh prayer, i found a spider web. I rushed home, took out my phone and snapped this cool picture. The moon caught in a spider's web.

Skeletal remains of a cat.

I was wi-fing at Esso last week when i smell something rotten. When i look on to my left i thought i saw a kitten's head lying on the ground. I was totally right and it really gave me the chills. A few days before, i could have sworn i saw some kittens playing around the petrol station. My best bet is it is a case of cannibalistic act of cats. Today when i returned, the only thing lying there is the skeletal remains. Poor kitty.

The hunt

The cat was testing out its primordial hunting skills on the defenceless newborn lizard. Thanks to a good samaritan, the lizard was saved from the ordeal despite some minor cuts and bruises.

Carried away.

When you get carried away with all the compliments and all, you can be complacent. That is the case for Arsenal the other day. With all the bruhaha of trashing Sheffield, Hull had taught a valueable lesson to the gunners. With two points adrift of the pacesetters, we can surely thank Wigan for their win again Man City. I hope we will be ready to face them in the cup.

Go the gunners!

It was a great footballing week for Arsenal despite drawing at Kiev, they are now on top of the standings after the rests of the big for dropping two points.

Pakatan Rakyat Pakatan Komunis?

One of the methods used by the communist to over throw a government is by creating havoc and uncertainties to the general public. Their propaganda machine works ever so hard to scrutinize the government that was by right chosen by the voting public. Trump up issues were raised in order to instill hatred and mistrust. What could be more worrying is the movement could have been backed by the unseen hands of foreign power like the zionists, the Rothchilds, the Illuminatis etc. Their plan for world domination have already taken place with the fall of many ruling governments. I wish that this is not the case with the current political climate in our country.

Happy Ramadhan!

It is ramadhan yet again i can't believe how fast time flew by this year. Everything seems to be moving a lot faster than ever before. Doob daab, doob daab, it is already september. A few weeks ago, my team finish ninth in the Maju Junction Amazing hunt. My brother's team of two masters (him and abang Muz) and my sister Jannah finish second. While they reap RM 3000, my team got an electric oven, a carton of isotonic drinks and RM 50 CASH VOUCHER from giant. The questions are quite tough for the non-masters. On the same day, i went to Subang Parade to compete in 2008 Malaysia rubik's championship. Just when i thought that was fast enough, there are dozens who were way more quicker. But i really glad to have join the competition because it inspired me to solve the 5x5 the day after. There was this kid who was very unfortunate not to take part in the competition because he was a bit late for the preliminaries. I must state here now that should he had made it, he would blast the competitions into oblivion. He gave me some pointers and told me about the algorithms that you can pick on the internet for speed cubing. Just like Will Smith who inspired me to solve the original cube, the boy did the same for me for the 5x5 that i thought would took me forever to solve. So thank you who ever you are!

Eclipse on the 17.

when i went out for Subuh that morning, i was suprised to see the moon was not full as it was the night before. Then i realized that they have mention about it before so was relief that it was not a case of time travelling a la the journeyman TV2, Tuesdays at 10 pm. When i went out at 5.47 amthe moon was half eclipsed by the earth's shadow, so the picture that i took only was after the Subuh's prayers at 6.30am. So this saturday i'm on two missions that are to do well on the Maju Junction Hunt and the Rubik's challenge.

bla,bla,bla,bla,bla,bla,

i did an errant for Ana today that is picking up her voice over cd for a Skywalker liaison. The rendezvou was Taman Jaya Lrt. When i arrived there, i saw a&w and i figure i would grab a bite when i finished my task. So i did. To my disappointment, the double deluxe burger that i order did not look like the picture that they have on the menu. I felt very much cheated.

It is not as easy as i first thought.

The 5x5 is quite a challenge indeed! I've only manage to solve the top four layers. Maju Junction Hunt is back. I have to team up with Ana and Asyiq because the rules said so! The past two race, i team up with my brother Acat. We finished 2nd and 3rd respectively. I don't know the prospects of the my team sans Acat, but we'll try our best.

5 X 5

I just can not help it!

Thanks!

I'm at KFC in KLCC after my errant of delivering mengkudus for my brother. This post is dedicated to Mrs. Emily who was kind enough to drop by my site via my brother's and wished me happy birthday. She is the 2nd person after abang Fizan to wish it on-line. I checked out her needle art and craft site and i thought that it is cool. Well i am also in touch with my feminine site so i'm happy to admit that i can crochet. I pick up my skills right after the demise of my big sister Wilma. I can do hats, bags, safety vest, N95 cover etc. I even do my part in helping the environment by shopping in my skateboard with my custom made shopping bag. At the time being i'm contemplating on buying the 5 x 5 rubik's.

No wonder.

On my way back, i finally learnt what'd coz the delay. They are driving the train manually from Setiawangsa to Gombak.

Skate RT

I went to Batu 3 again today to redeem the cash vouchers that my sister and i won in the Famous Amos SMS Challenge. It is only a consolation prize of Rm 100 each. On my way there, the Putra Lrt system is having a technical difficulties. They are having problems in the Setiawangsa station up to Gombak. That's why my brother Ijai asked my other brother Asyiq to pick him up at Setiawangsa instead of Wangsa Maju. So when asked for the ticket to KL Sentral, they told me that i have to wait for an hour plus. So ever so resourceful, i skate my way to Damai and i save an hour of waiting. So having the skateboard can be quite useful.

My birthday.

It was my birthday lastweek. I'm 26. It also marked the birth of my second niece baby Jada Kyra binti Mohd Khalid Rashad into the world. I was running an errant for Ana on Thursday so i finally have the chance to see the baby because i was in the vicinity. On my way to see her, i involved in a minor accident, my skateboard hit something so it stalled and throwed me into the pavement. I only suffered minor cuts and bruises. Good thing i was using the GPS and my body position was quite convenient to break the fall. The funny thing was a few days earlier, i was misbuttoning my shirts so i should have see it coming. I just ever thankful to Allah because i got to see my niece in one piece instead of plaster casts. My mankind cover have been quite a hit in the Americanas. It have by now had been watch 85 times.

will anyone gives them better ball?

I took my football out for a kick about a few days ago at the park. The kids in the park was so enthusiastic the moment they laid their eyes on the official euro match ball. So i let them play with it. I was surprised to see the raw talent that they have and it really makes me wonder about the sorry state of football in Malaysia. If we can spend millions on broadcasting rights of a footie match, why can not we provide our kids with proper facilities and equipments for football?

To bee or not to bee?

Take a good look at this photo. It some where in Rome. You'll notice a bee hovering.

Now what can you see in this photo? A dragon! A real life dragon in Lembah Keramat.

Sometimes even small things can make a difference.

2007 was the year i auditioned for AF and only made it to top 50. Instead of playing my trades in the academy, i ended up helping out my sister Hilda who had just given birth to Farzana at her rented house in Puchong. It was there i found out about the Nokia Wireless Adventure. At first i was hoping to try it out with my brother, but he was too busy for his upcoming nuptials. So i asked Ana instead. For the registration we must submit a creative photo of the two of us. So we came out with the idea of superimposing ourselves behind the Lourve in France a la the da Vin Ci code. To our surprise, we were selected for an audition. Ana really made a big impression for the both of us and we made it to the final 8 and the rest are history. We really enjoyed Rome eventhough it is only just for quite a while. We wouldn't have won the race should Dylan have been easy on us. Let's not forget Mr. Lee who knew the routes better than the Nokia maps. The free N95s that we got really changed our lives. It brings endless possibilities. Just ask Ana if you know what i mean. Just now she was performing her song 'Hujan Bunga' live on Suria fm. With the N95, i have appeared in a TVC, shoot a thousand ringgit worth photo, start blogging, won the Euro Pass football, posted videos on Youtube etc. Thank you Allah and thank you Nokia for this thingamajig.
